I have been involved in recording for over 10 years and studied Sound Engineering and Production BSc at the Birmingham City University.

Over this time I have recorded and produced a variety of projects, ranging from acoustic singer songwriters, full bands and electronic music. I’m passionate about keeping up with the most up to date techniques, from books, magazines, seminars and websites videos. I believe this, along side my practical recording experience, has given me a very broad knowledge to deal with a variety of recording situations.

I have a high attention to detail level and see the recordings leaving my workspace as my business cards, not just a quick demo for a band. After all, my name is on that cd too!

I work from a selection of spaces all geared and specialised towards different types of productions. From very high spec single mix room suites, to 3 + live room studio complexes with full residential offerings. I own my own Audient ASP4816 mixing console and mainly monitor on Adam A7’s,  Genelecs, Yamaha HS80s, PMC EB1’s and ATC sofet mounted midfields. I have a variety of Raindirk, Calrec, TLAudio and SSL outboard gear, and a good selection of microphones to suit all sessions.

I run all major DAWs (Nuendo, Cubase and Pro Tools, Studio one, Reaper) on my custom built studio PC and Macbook pro (Logic X).

I have a variety of plugins from SPL, Brainworks, Native instruments, Slate Digital, Vallhalla DSP and Waves.
